Today I spent a bunch of time hanging out with the boy while the wife was packing up a good deal of the kitchen but when we headed out of the house I purposefully wanted to get some pictures of things that were not my son. I had nothing in particular in mind but figured I might be able to get a couple of shots because it was a beautiful day and we were gonna grab some stuff at Lawson and have lunch in the park. Here’s a shot of some shoes I bought for the wife when she was pregnant because she couldn’t wear heels, just liked the colors (but the “baby car” wasn’t supposed to be in the shot…) :

With the next few pictures I did something I don’t think I’ve done on here before really and that is edit the pictures. I pretty much just tweaked the colors or contrast because all of them felt a little off for some reason or another. Normally I don’t like doing anything outside of the camera but I’m fairly pleased with the results anyway.

That was pretty much it for me today, just played with MJ and did some packing. We got word this evening that we’ve been approved for the apartment up in Saitama so it seems that everything is still on track for us to be out of here on the 7th. Still have a bunch of packing to do but most of my personal stuff is boxed except my PC and 360 and other necessities but that can wait until much closer to the deadline. Dang, last week of September, can’t believe how fast this year has gone by.
